Give the Gift of South African Wine this Christmas with Vivat Bacchus’ New Wine Cases

Starting to panic at the prospect of Christmas shopping? Or perhaps you’re wondering what to add to your Christmas list this year? Fear not, we’ve got you covered! Introducing our new South African wine cases – the perfect gift for Christmas.

Whether you know a South African wine fanatic or are yet to discover the wonders of what the Rainbow Nation has to offer, these cases of six bottles are a great opportunity for wine lovers to try some of the very best.

You know that we are the experts when it comes to South African wine, so trust us when we say that you can sit back and relax; we have high-quality, sustainable wine for every occasion. With a range of sparkling, white, and red, from both the standout South African producers, and smaller, independent winemakers included in both our premium and classic cases, the wide variety provides an exciting experience when opening on Christmas day.

The Premium South African Case is full of hard-to-find wines, including the chance to snatch up the Blackwater Terra Lux Pinot Noir. This has been crafted using grapes sourced from the über-trendy Elgin area, aged in seasoned oak, unfiltered and ridiculously rare as they made less than 2,000 bottles. You’ll also find the Rainbow’s End Family Reserve; with only 10 barrels made from the very finest vintages, it is the producer’s pride and joy and a great one to pop open with the family to share. And to kick off proceedings? Bubbles from Genevieve Method Cap Classique, Zero Dosage 2017 – a 100% Chardonnay from the Bot River, released not every year but only when it is an exceptional vintage.

The more affordable Classic South African Case features a Blackwater Underdog Chenin Blanc, a wine so pure it almost feels like it should be good for you, and a Bartinney Chardonnay, made on a mountain where the vines are but a wispy cloud away from heaven. If you’re more inclined for a red, we have Rainbow’s End Mystical Corner, which is so rich, smooth, and dark, you’d think that black magic must have been used to create such an indulgent taste.

The six bottles would also be great accompaniments for Christmas dinner too. With complementary pairings for starters, mains, and desserts, your friends and family will be impressed with the delightful additions to the feast, elevating it to the next level as you eat, drink, and be merry together.

Get your hands on the Premium South African Case here for £249.55 and the Classic South African Case here for only £165. Or, pop into our South African restaurants in Farringdon and London Bridge to pick up your case.
