Waiting Staff

Location - Farringdon/London Bridge

VIVAT BACCHUS Restaurant and Wine Bar are looking for experienced waiting staff to join their team at our London Bridge and Farringdon branches.

We are a busy London-based restaurant open, lunch and dinner, Monday through Saturday.
If you are looking for a professional environment, opportunity to advance your career and a supportive team in which to work, Vivat Bacchus could be the right place for you.

Successful candidates will need to be;

- Enthusiastic, with a passion for the hospitality industry.
- Have a good command of the English language.
- Have a can-do attitude.
- A minimum of 1 years working experience in a similar role is a necessity as well as excellent communication skills & the ability to work well under pressure.

Wine and cheese knowledge will be advantageous.

Applicants must provide proof of their eligibility to work in the UK.

Commis Chef

Location - London Bridge

Kitchen Porter

Location - Farringdon/London Bridge

Salary: £8 per hour

Full/part time: Full time (approximately 40 hours per week, potential to work more if desired)

Vivat Bacchus is a well respected, long established group of London based restaurants with a strong focus on wine, cheese, consistently excellent food and friendly service. We pride ourselves on the family atmosphere amongst our staff and the excellent work ethic of all our employees.

We are looking for an experienced kitchen porter with experience working in a similar type of establishment.  A positive, can do attitude is essential together with the ability to adapt to new environments while always being approachable, friendly and willing to assist.  You must be fluent in spoken English.

Uniform while on duty

We close all bank holidays and over the Christmas period

Bartender

Location - Farringdon

Vivat Bacchus is a well respected, long established group of London based restaurants with a strong focus on wine, cheese, consistently excellent food and friendly service. We pride ourselves on the family atmosphere amongst our staff and the excellent work ethic of all our employees.
We are looking for an experienced grill chef with at least 3 year’s grill experience working in a similar type of establishment. A positive, can do attitude is essential together with the ability to adapt to new environments while always being approachable, friendly and willing to assist. You must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Sous Chef

Location - Farringdon

Vivat Bacchus Farringdon is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team. You will be supported at all times by our very experienced and passionate head chef and management team with the support of a hardworking and enthusiastic kitchen team – all of whom have a great deal of experience working in this industry.

Key duties include:
• Responsible for the running of the kitchen in the absence of our Head Chef.
• Assisting in the recruitment, management and development of our kitchen team
• Menu development and costing.
• Wastage control
• Health and Safety monitoring
