About the Winemaker
In 1995, the Gabb family from Shropshire purchased a neglected yet promising vineyard in the southern reaches of Stellenbosch. From the outset, their commitment to sustainable and ethical farming practices helped set the estate apart.
Today, the vineyard focuses primarily on Chardonnay and Bordeaux-style varieties, while also cultivating a range of other classic grape varieties across the estate. Winemaker Mike Dawson now leads the cellar, having taken over from Leon Esterhuizen, who has since moved into the broader role of cellar master.
