VB Moments
A series of immersive dining experiences that bring the warmth and ritual of South African hospitality to Londoners.
Biltong Trolley
After a proper South African welcome from our team, the Biltong Trolley rolls in - a roving cart laden with whole slabs of cured biltong, carved tableside by a leather-aproned Biltong Curator. As they slice, they share the craft behind each cut, from the lean and spicy to the richly marbled. Biltong is a treasured part of South African culinary heritage, traditionally made by curing meat with salt, air-drying it, and slicing it into thick strips.
Tuck into exotic meats like Zebra Droëwors, Wagyu Stokkies, or your choice of Beef, Chilli or Chutney Biltong.
Braai Board & beef dripping candle
Our Braai Board invites you to share in this tradition, with a table piled high with flame-grilled cuts like ostrich, steak, and boerewors - turning dinner into a feast.
At its centre burns the Smoking Braai Candle, slow-melting beef dripping that scents the air with heady spices. It is both a visual and aromatic highlight that nods to the smoky heart of South African cooking.
A natural addition to the Braai Board, Golden Maize Bread arrives hot in a skillet, its sweet-spicy crumb bubbling with peri-peri butter - perfect for dipping into the smoky flavours.
Pepeprmint crisp tart
Our Peppermint Crisp Tart has taken on legendary status in our restaurants as a nostalgic indulgence, theatrically shared at the table.
Once you’ve tasted it, it’s easy to understand why it’s one of the most beloved desserts in South Africa.
This no-bake classic features layers of coconut biscuits and a caramel & cream mix, all studded with shards of Peppermint Crisp - a minty chocolate bar with the most irresistible crunch.
It’s rich, nostalgic, and the kind of dessert every South African grandma has made to feed the family after a braai.
